Ami & I rented “The Spectacular Now” from Redbox staring
Shailene Woodley & Miles Teller. At first I was a little confused on where
the movie was going but I finally figured out the story line a bit and it
started to all come together. It really keeps you going, like out of nowhere
Aimee (Shailene Woodley) gets hit by a car! I was at the edge of my seat! I
would have never of saw that coming. Thank goodness she was okay. I think it
was a very heartwarming movie since Sutter (Miles Teller) is a teen alcoholic
because of his alcoholic father left his family and he is just wanting to be
loved. The two main characters did a fantabulous job at acting in this film
together. I am particularly proud of the beautiful actor Shailene’s performance.
I give this movie 4 stars & suggest to people who enjoy watching R rated
films. It had some sexual scenes and shows alcoholism often. I was really
surprised that Shailene showed off her lovely body and even a scene where you
see her breasts!

Moving Soon
I got the letter the other day that we are moving soon.
I am
pretty excited about it because it will be a lot bigger than the little two
bedroom apartment we are stuck up in right now.
I do have one concern though
that the kids will have problems sleeping in their own rooms since they share a
room right now plus we will be in a new environment.
Hopefully all goes well in
the new place.

Melatonin
So my son’s doctor had suggested that I use 3mg of Melatonin to help him get to sleep tonight because he has issues
going to sleep. I bought the melatonin
and have been giving it to him every night for the past month. He has done fine
on it. He is two years old so I was
a little worried about giving him medication to help get him to sleep even
though it is tiring to hear him wine and scream all night long. I decided it
would probably be best to try it since he is having so many troubles. I figured
it would be ok to do since the doctor suggested it and Melatonin is supposed to be all natural. The other day I came
across a blog post of a mother that used Melatonin
with their daughter for years and all of a sudden she started having seizures
and it might have been linked to Melatonin.
Now I am worried whether it is ok to use the Melatonin with my son every night or if it is going to have a very
nasty side effect of seizures or something fatal with him. I am very concerned,
not sure what to do, not sure if I should continue this. Does anyone have any
experience in this that they could share?
