What a Yummy Day!

Since I have not had a chance to write in quite some time, I want to start with saying the time I have spent offline, have been quite eventful.

Enough of that though, maybe sometime I can get in to a little more detail... But for now I just want to talk about my yummy day :)

I have been using Instagram more often now on my phone, so I have seen people doing these cute little meals & I just had to try it! They are pretty healthy too :)

For Breakfast...
I made this beautiful palm tree meal that was not only good looking but very tasty! The kids loved it (of course their plates didn't have the sugar though) & so did the fiance & I :). You take some juicy kiwis & cut them into round slices then cut them in half, then you take a banana & cut it in two, place on two sides of the plate & then slice the banana but leave the banana in a line together. After that you sprinkle sugar as sand below the trunk of the palm tree. I did see some people used mandarin oranges instead of sugar for the sand/ground.

For Lunch...
This one is cute flowers made out of an egg & a green pepper (As you can see, the flowers got a little messy looking, I later found out people took their pictures before the egg was all the way done when it looked most like a flower, but still cute though!). It isn't as easy as it looks to keep the eggs inside the pepper but it was not a very hard meal either & is pretty tasty. The prep time for this one isn't long at all. Other people used different types of peppers to have sort of a variety but I decided to try it with just the green ones today. You cut the top off of the pepper & then cut it in to the "ring" like slices. I did it about 1/2 inch to an inch in thickness. You put them on the pan when it is hot about on med heat. After you put the slices on the pan, crack an egg in each one. When it looks like it is time to flip, flip it & finish them up. I salted mine while they were cooking & then after as well (ran out of pepper lol).

Overall, my favorite meal was the fruit palm trees, it was full of flavor & it was just so adorable! If you substitute the sugar it would be a very healthy meal! Four stars for the Palm Trees & Three stars for the Flowers.

Dependence?

It is hard for people to not be depended on something at least once a week. I depend on a lot of things actually. One of the biggest problems I have faced in my life time is being co-dependent. A while ago it used to be even worse but I got some help and it subsided a bit. Now I am back to having a semi-bad problem with being co-dependent on my girlfriend. I hope that my children will not end up with the co-dependency down the line. My opinion is that being co-dependent too much can be quite dangerous. The reason why I say that it could be dangerous is because if something were to happen to the person/thing one is co-dependent on then they are practically lost. Another dependence I struggle with is more difficult. I do not understand why I need to depend on things to get by in life. I really do not have a reason to be dependent on anything, it is hard to be dependent on things… It is just plain out frustrating. Being too dependent is irritating when you look back and think about it, at least it is to me when I sit down and think about it. When being too dependent it can affect other people and their feelings and it can be a problem between two people or more now instead of ones self. I honestly do not think i could go one day without being dependent on something. Maybe one day I can change some things and try to be less dependent.

My Photo Shoot of Mae Mae :)

Recently, I have found a crochet Hello Kitty hat that my ex-best friend had got for my eldest daughter through a blog raffle. Arie's head was always too large to fit in it, but precious Mae Mae's little head fits so perfect in it. I just had to do a photo shoot of her wearing it.
Here are the pictures:

Last but not least, my absolute favorite picture of my little Mae Mae :)

Movie Review: The Spectacular Now

Ami & I rented “The Spectacular Now” from Redbox staring Shailene Woodley & Miles Teller. At first I was a little confused on where the movie was going but I finally figured out the story line a bit and it started to all come together. It really keeps you going, like out of nowhere Aimee (Shailene Woodley) gets hit by a car! I was at the edge of my seat! I would have never of saw that coming. Thank goodness she was okay. I think it was a very heartwarming movie since Sutter (Miles Teller) is a teen alcoholic because of his alcoholic father left his family and he is just wanting to be loved. The two main characters did a fantabulous job at acting in this film together. I am particularly proud of the beautiful actor Shailene’s performance. I give this movie 4 stars & suggest to people who enjoy watching R rated films. It had some sexual scenes and shows alcoholism often. I was really surprised that Shailene showed off her lovely body and even a scene where you see her breasts!

Moving Soon

I got the letter the other day that we are moving soon.
I am pretty excited about it because it will be a lot bigger than the little two bedroom apartment we are stuck up in right now.
I do have one concern though that the kids will have problems sleeping in their own rooms since they share a room right now plus we will be in a new environment.
Hopefully all goes well in the new place.
